Inchies: Work in Progress

Our Guild's January challenge is to submit 4 pcs. Inchies expressing ourselves. Inchies are 1" x 1" works of art which can be made from paper, polymer clay, fabric, etc. For some countries, these served as a "Calling card" for their works, so people can take a sneak peek to their talented world.


I really haven't decided on what to do but I made some caned leaves and petals which I planned to incorporate to my design.

Alcohol Inks!

I am so addicted to alcohol inks with polymer clay. I'm forever experimenting and trying different techniques with it and so far I still have a long way to go in mastering this medium. Let me share with you some of my experiments:


1. Alcohol ink on polymer clay with black and white image transfer:

3. Alcohol Ink with TLS and metallic foil on polymer clay

4. Alcohol ink in polymer clay with "masking" technique - Batik-style (Technique by Heather Campbell): I really enjoyed doing this :)

I may have to challenge myself to do something using technique no. 4. I'll keep you posted :)

Birthday Feast from the Sea

I had been very busy lately juggling between work, claying and my personal life. :)

Last November 28, I celebrated my birthday with my sister and boyfriend at Vikings Buffet Restaurant in SM By the Bay.

It was a feast indeed! With food ranging from pasta, salads, chinese food, japanese food, grilled seafood and meat, and of course my favorite, desserts. Drinks were overflowing as well. I especially loved their strong coffee :).

This is the only time that I felt so full eating at a Buffet. Definitely worth it :)
