Birthday Feast from the Sea

I had been very busy lately juggling between work, claying and my personal life. :)

Last November 28, I celebrated my birthday with my sister and boyfriend at Vikings Buffet Restaurant in SM By the Bay.
That's me in front of Vikings Buffet Restaurant
It was a feast indeed! With food ranging from pasta, salads, chinese food, japanese food, grilled seafood and meat, and of course my favorite, desserts. Drinks were overflowing as well. I especially loved their strong coffee :).

This is the only time that I felt so full eating at a Buffet. Definitely worth it :)

Pardo Dragons

Last November 13, me and a few members of the Philippine Polymer Clay Guild meet up in a mall for the Pardo Clay Ball Swap.

See the Pardo Clay Balls :)

Pardo is a bakeable clay manufactured in Germany. It has no phthalates (plasticizer- used in polymer clay to make it pliable) and is made from beeswax. It doesn't need any conditioning and the end product is still strong and durable when properly baked.

The clay balls are packed in a plastic jar per color. And since this is the first time that we will use this product, we decided to swap colors.
Finished swapped balls :)
Because of the busy season, it took me a month before playing with it.

Inspired by the facebook page of Ms. Christi Friesen, I decided to make a dragon for every ball of Pardo Clay I have. And so far these are the results:
This is Coats, He's got a precious rock that he guards with his life!

This is Imp, with her blue egg :)

Toadie, my first-born. He's really shy!

This is Alfalfa, the water dragon resting on top of a shiny river bed

There are still 10 clay balls left, that means 10 more dragons to produce. Until next time! :)
